ADTEL, the manufacturer and distributor of Baron Antenna, introduced to the market its latest Baron Receiver Link (BRL), a specially designed antenna for Digital Terrestrial Television Transmission. This is an outdoor antenna that will enhance the reception of the digital signal in areas with weak signals.
This outdoor antenna is compatible with ABSCBN TV Plus, RCA and other black boxes available in the market. It also works well with smart TVs.
“We want to help consumers enhance their viewing experience,” said Andrew Ramos, president and chief executive officer of ADTEL.
The BRL antenna is designed for condominium units, places where many people experience weak signals or even dead spots. It also works well with digital TV-ready television sets or ISDB-T ready TV. These televisions already have an incorporated digital receiver on the TV. Just connect the the BRL with the digta TV and it will immediately receive ISDB-T ready TV. In Metro Manila, there are now about 10-20 free-to-air digital channels. DTT signals are also available in North Luzon, Bacolord, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, and Iloilo.
ADTEL also introduced its new endorser, Kuya Kim Atienza, at the launch. Kuya Kim succeeds the late Knowledge Power advocate Ka Ernie Baron not only as endorser but also as human encyclopedia by giving important information and lessons in his shows.
Kuya Kim said he is pleased to be able to fill in the shoes of Ka Ernie, where the antenna was named.
BRL is now available in the market.
